I think I have put everything I showed you on this page and updated the links. Please get in contact if anything is missing.

The red buttons above will take you to the CLP website pages.

If you need to contact me here is my email address:

stuart.scott@collaborativelearning.org

The red/pink buttons above and below will take you to the main website for Collaborative Learning. If you want access to the Early Years resources please register your school email with us and we will send you a link.

Here is the backwards mapping planning framework based on Pauline Gibbons' most recent book which, unfortunately, is not published in the UK, but can be found on line. Here is the school audit document in Word which you can edit and personalise. Here are the descriptors and the trajectories pages. Please go to our links page for all the other links: NASSEA website for details about their new assessment framework, Bell Foundation to download the assessment pack, EAL Bilingual Google group and to NALDIC. The induction pack for beginners now ready. You can find our Joined in Thinking beginners blog on our newsletter page. and Kamil Trzebiatowski's blog can be found there too. Here is the assessing writing material.

EAL teachers enjoy networking so please spread the word to other colleagues in your school and in other schools. Here is the publicity leaflet: the tiny version and a larger one. CLP runs inexpensive training, which you can find on our newsletter page. We are always open to requests from schools for advice, training or workshops. Please consider coming to one of our free Saturday development workshops which are run roughly monthly. We are planning an online version for folk too far away to come on a Saturday.

For those of you who want to look at the theory in more detail, here is the link to research and a small bibliography.

If you are interested in joining the EAL Bilingual online forum go to:

http://groups.google.com/group/eal-bilingual

or if you have trouble with accessing the google group please email the NALDIC office who coordinate the group and/or to access their Regional Interest Groups. You do not have to belong to NALDIC to attend but we hope your school will join. If you want to access the CLP webpage for the Early Years games for you need to register your school with us.

Here are more direct links to the Teaching Activities that I brought to the session (many of these can also be found on Teachit and the TES resource bank.) We did not had time to look at all of these in the session. Use the red buttons to reach the main CLP website and all the other materials plus links to sites which you will find useful. Please contact me if you have any further questions or can't find particular items. Very best wishes for your work with EAL pupils.
