Activities around Stories to Support Early Years and Key Stage One.
Since its inception the project has produced a wide range of games and activities around popular stories. In fact our 1980s Saturday storyprops workshops were considered by many at the time to be more fulfilling than retail therapy! This work has inspired other projects such as storysacks and storytents. However, I think this project is unique in always sharing this good practice for free.
We are now running workshops again on developing new activities. We ran a very successful one in Leicester. Please keep an eye on our newsletter which will tell you whether we are running workshops in your area. If you are interested in us helping you run a workshop in your area/LA/school please contact us. We are non profit making and therefore keep costs to the minimum.
We are now beginning to put more material online. However, for copyright reasons, we can't use pictures from the actual books, and we would like to draw on your and your children's own pictures to improve the appearance of our online games.
